ALS Shift Supervisor

North Fork EMS - ALS PROVIDER - SHIFT SUPERVISOR – FTE & PRN positions available

North Fork EMS responds to all EMS 9-1-1 calls in a 1,500-square-mile area over three counties and does so by maintaining three stations in the region. The North Fork valley encompasses the communities of Crawford, Hotchkiss and Paonia in Western Colorado with a population of around 9,000. The North Fork valley beautifully blends tradition and innovation. The area maintains its agricultural heritage while embracing sustainable farming practices like organic orchards and vineyards. JOB SUMMARY

The ALS Provider Shift Supervisor responds to emergency calls using a North Fork EMS Quick Response Vehicle (QRV) to provide efficient and immediate Advanced Life Support care to ill and injured patients, and may assist in patient transport to appropriate medical facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide ALS level care and emergency scene management
• Coordinate operational resources during assigned shifts
• Comply with all North Fork EMS policies and procedures
• Represent North Fork EMS professionally

QUALIFICATIONS

• Colorado Certified EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic
• Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and AHA BLS Provider CPR
• Valid Colorado Driver's License
• High school diploma or GED
• Must successfully pass a thorough pre-employment background investigation and drug test

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• PRN position:
  • $500-$700 per 24-hour shift, commensurate with experience and qualifications

  • $62,616 -93,925 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Exempt salary position
