Frederick-Firestone Fire District (FFFD) is currently seeking qualified candidates interested in an upcoming employment opportunity for the position of EMS Training Lieutenant. A qualified candidate must have at least five (5) years of emergency medical services experience and an associate’s degree. The minimum requirements for this position can be found in the attached position job description 100.5.6.2 EMS Training Lieutenant.

Testing Process
The testing process will include a written multiple-choice examination, scenario based examinations assessing a candidate’s medical skills, managerial and leadership assessment, and an oral interview panel.


Establishing an Eligibility List for the Position of EMS Training Lieutenant
Once all scoring portions of this employment assessment process are complete, all individual scores will be compiled, and a ranked list will be established. Once the eligibility list is established, any former eligibility list established will no longer be valid. The District reserves the right to discontinue any eligibility list for any reason and establish a new promotional process to fill any vacancies
