Firefighter Paramedic - Lateral

Mountain View Fire Rescue is searching for Lateral Firefighter Paramedics to join our agency. We cover more than 250 square miles of beautiful Colorado landscape in Boulder County, Weld County, and a small portion of Jefferson County. The communities that comprise our district include Eldorado Springs, Flagstaff Mountain, Dacono, Erie, Mead, Niwot, and Superior.

Our agency currently has 10 active stations with 2 more under construction. We have a robust EMS Division with an excellent training and support structure to ensure our staff has what they need to get the job done.

Education/Experience:

• Professional Fire Academy Graduate (600 hours)
• Grade III minimum: current 3+ years full time career
• Grade IV minimum: full time career academy
• High School Diploma or GED

Minimum Licensing/Certification Requirements include:

• Valid driver's license.
• Colorado Paramedic or NREMT Paramedic certification
• Basic Life Support CPR & ACLS certifications
• Pediatric Care Certification (PALS, PEPP or equivalent)
• Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control (DFPC)
  Firefighter I certification, or higher. (Equivalent certification if out of state)

GRADE II: $119,408

GRADE III: $108,035

GRADE IV: $96,663
