The ALS Provider Shift Supervisor responds to emergency calls with a NF EMS QRV to provide efficient and immediate ALS care to ill and injured patients and may assist in patient transport to appropriate medical facilities.

• Colorado Certified EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic
• Current ACLS, PALS, and AHA BLS Provider CPR certifications
• $400-$700 per 24-hour shift
• 457b retirement plan match
• 4-8 shifts per month

North Fork EMS responds to approximately 1,100 calls in a 1,500 square mile service area, with a population of approximately 9,450 people in and around the rural communities of Crawford, Hotchkiss and Paonia, in the North Fork valley on the western slope of Colorado. 

With ambulances stationed in three communities, North Fork EMS is licensed as a Basic Life Support (BLS) service, with Advanced Life Support (ALS) staff responding in Quick Response Vehicles (QRVs). Transport times to our only hospital, Delta Health, are between 20 and 60+ minutes depending on the location of the call within our District. Air medical is requested to transport higher acuity North Fork patients.
