Trinidad Ambulance District (TAD) is seeking entry-level and experienced 911 ALS providers to join our professional staff. Our mission is to provide the highest level of quality care possible to the citizens and visitors of our community. TAD was established in 1989 as the sole ambulance provider for the City of Trinidad and Las Animas County, Colorado. TAD operates two ambulances out of one station, providing ALS response 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. TAD is a progressive agency with cutting-edge advanced practice protocols, modern equipment, and opportunities for advancement within our new MIH/Community Paramedic Program.

Job Requirements

Applicants must be reliable, compassionate, and motivated. Must have a good driving record and a valid driver’s license. Shift work includes 48 hours on, 96 hours off, and 24-hour on-call time. Applicants must have the following:

  • Colorado Paramedic or EMT-Intermediate certification
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • CPR
  • Ability to submit to and pass a drug screen
