The Director of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, strategic planning, and operation of the County’s Emergency Medical Services department. The Director provides strategic leadership and direction; ensures organizational safety and regulatory compliance; cultivates positive working relationships with other response agencies and community organizations; and provides executive oversight of training, professional development, operational protocols, policies, procedures and practices in collaboration with the Medical Director. Through the EMS Operations Manager and other supervisory staff, the EMS Director provides direction and executive oversight of the department’s daily operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality pre-hospital care, operational efficiency, organizational performance, and regulatory compliance. This is a full-time, exempt position with a biweekly salary range of $4,230.76 to $5,384.61, an annual equivalent of $110,000 to $140,000, DOQ.
